  • So the realization that I should post something, anything, finally hit me.  So here's a little scoop of sweetness for you:

We finally got moved in and are pretty much settled.  We still keep finding places that are better for certain things then the last one we picked.

We have a whole lot of room and it's almost too overwhelming.  So if you're up for a roadtrip, come visit.  I need company during the day and it'll feel good to have someone in the house.

The nursery is coming along.  I'll post pictures of our progress next time I stop by the lab.  I am pouting because I can't help.  One: I love painting.  Two: It's my babys room; I want to do it.  Boohoo, I'll survive.  Lol

That is all for now.  Come visit me!

  • Have you ever just 'known' a fact.  Not that if the fact proved to be false you'd throw a fit or anything.  It's just that there's just something there that makes you 'know' that it's true.  Maybe an inner intuition.  I like those little facts.  Not the pointless trivia ones that I'll forget with time.  But the little life facts.  The ones that are like little secrets God shares with just you.  Now, like I said if my fact weren't true, I would be fine with it.  I can honestly say I'd be shocked.  Maybe shocked isn't even the word.  I am not all-knowing by any means.  Maybe just, "Hum?"d.  That's what we'll call it.  "Hum?"d.

Wanna know me and God's secret?  Of course you do.

Picture this:  A little Paris themed nursery, scattered with pink, black and white.  With an old antique french couch and polka dot pillows.  An Eiffel Tower and a gorgous intricate French elevator, both sketched on the walls with charcole.  And finally a vintage French mannequin spiced up with a fashion belt and draped with beady necklaces and a enormous oversized hat to top it off.

It's not that I don't want a room of blue with sail boats and teddy bears.  It's just all I think about is Paris.  Paris.  Paris.  And little old navy trendy girl outfits.

Russ and I talk to 'her' and already call her 'Devin'.  We confirm in 3 weeks that it is a girl.  But until then, I'll just set back and smile and dream a little more about decorating.
